Holland Best Food Point

Top Restaurants in Holland Village

In a popular neighborhood of affordable international eateries, the Holland Village Food Centre is one of the few places for an authentic Singaporean dining experience on a tight budget. There are around a dozen mini food stands and every specializes in at least a couple of local dishes.

Choose from tasty fried noodles, Hainanese beef rice, roasted pork chop, cabbage with sausage, and so much more for under SGD 5! The mini-Chinese restaurants also offer some interesting traditional Chinese dishes, including dim sum, toasted bamboo shoots, chicken rice, roasted crab, and more. A few blocks from holland village food Centre, you will find La Nonna Food Centre. Though this small hawker Centre is a great place to go if you are looking for inexpensive desserts and snacks, its menu is more traditional than most of the other vendors in Holland Village.

On a hot summer day, you might even find yourself lingering longer at La Nonna Food Centre to purchase a sweet fruit such as malbec, or perhaps malbec gel. Other desserts from Singapore include almond cake and macaroons filled with cream. For more exotic delights, try a Pajarito (tummy sandwich filled with meat and vegetables) from Singapore or kuih and sambal, both of which are similarly filling and go well with a strong cup of coffee. If you are looking for a little taste of culture and a shot of yummy local fare, head over to Remedy Gardens.

Remedy Gardens is Singapore's answer to France's Le Haut Marais, with its quaint cobbled streets and French-style cafe. The remedy is also home to one of the best restaurants in the country, La Dolce Vita, which serves amazing local fare such as lamb chops with pickled vegetables and mint sauce.
